Greek Coins

To make a coin in ancient Greece, they put a lump of precious metal in a die cut in an anvil. Then it was hit with a hammer to force it into the mold.

Athenian Coin

Athena was featured on the coin of ancient Athens.

On the front, the coin features a picture of Athena, and on the back, one of Athena's owls.

Corinthian Coin

Athena was also featured on the coin of Corinth, except the back featured a Pegasus instead of an owl.

The front of the coin featured a picture of Athena, and the back feature a Pegasus.

Peplos Scene On Parthenon Frieze

This is the Parthenon frieze, where it shows the gods sitting together. Some people think that this is Athena waiting for the peplos, which was made for her especially for the Panathenaic procession taking place.
